Important week in SA

This past week will surely go down as one of the most important weeks in South Africa's events calendar for this year. Two major events are scheduled to take place, indeed one of these two events took place on Wednesday when Finance Minister, Pravin Gordhan delivered his annual Budget Speech to Parliament. By all accounts, this has been a well considered budget despite a 5.3% deficit.

However, by far the most important event of the week in South Africa is the soccer derby between two Soweto giants, Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs. The game is scheduled for Sarturday afternoon at the FNB Stadium. I'm not going to reveal which team I support, except to say that may the best team win, as long as that team is Orlando Pirates.
